    Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul is Republicans’ top choice to be their next presidential nominee, a poll released Thursday found.

    The Public Policy Polling poll found Paul leading with 16 percent of Republican primary voters saying they would vote for him if the election were today. Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, and House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan tie for second place with 13 percent. Texas Sen. Ted Cruz is at 12 percent, and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio trails at 10 percent.

    This is going to be so interesting to see what happens to Graham, McCain, Peter King, Christie...

    They may end up switching parties. And then we'll have the party of tyrants and war versus the party of freedom and restraint. We may be out-numbered at first when all of these guys start jumping ship, but in a few election cycles, they'll all be gone.

    And it's all thanks to Ron Paul!!!!

    Rand is the only Republican under popular consideration whose mix of political skills and policy policy positions will be adequate to create an electoral majority.

    The choice for Republicans in 2016 will be binary: Rand Paul, or Hillary Clinton.
