Default Chemical weapons found in Syria ...

Chemical materials found by the Syrian army in a storage building used by anti-government insurgents in Jobar were “Made in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia”.

Al-Alam reporter who accompanied the Syrian army on their mission in Jobar’s al-Manashir district, located in Rif Dimashq governorate, said there were packs of poisonous materials and deadly chemicals in the storage.

A video filmed by our reporter showed packs of chemical materials labeled “Made in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia”.

The new revelation by Syrian army comes as Russian officials blasted the west for its “naive” allegations of banned arms used by Syrian government forces.

The Russian envoy to the United Nations (UN) said baseless allegations blaming Syrian government for applying chemical weapons are aimed at blocking efforts by the UN to probe into militants’ use of chemical weapons in Syria.

I first mentioned tear gas as a chemical weapon in May of this year in a short blog. This week we read from Britain’s Foreign Secretary that Britain is shipping gas masks to the Syrian rebels. I believe that this is so that the rebels can more freely use chemical weapons against the Syrian government forces. To understand why I say this, we need to connect a few dots.

We know that Bahrain has made intensive use of tear gas, enough to kill many civilians and protesters. We know this from an extensive report released almost a year ago by the reputable Physicians for Human Rights. The United States and Great Britain have supported Bahrain’s government for decades, and they supported the most recent suppression of protests. Britain has supplied Saudi Arabia with many weapons, including tear gas, which were weaponized and used in Bahrain. It stands to reason that the Bahrain forces (or Saudis acting as Bahrainis) would need gas masks to protect them from the effects of their intensive attacks. By the same logic, if rebel forces are using crude chemical weapons by mounting tear gas cannisters and other chemicals on projectiles, then they too will need gas masks so that they can follow up with ground forces. Since there is no evidence that the Syrian government is using chemical weapons, why else ship large numbers of gas masks? As the rebels are encountering reversals in battle, their incentive to use chemical weapons rises. The West, having encouraged their use in Bahrain (as weaponized CS gas), now appears to be furthering the use of that and other chemicals in Syria.

Who the hell said anything about "trusting" anything? Why do you think I went out of my way to explicitly identify the source?

And as opposed to "trusting" what? American news? Please, by all means, return to your FOX News Channel programming.

What's that? FOX News Channel isn't trustworthy, either? Well, then ... pointlessly useless comment is uselessly pointless.

    Which news do you "trust"?
Liberty is lost through complacency and a subservient mindset. When we accept or even welcome automobile checkpoints, random searches, mandatory identification cards, and paramilitary police in our streets, we have lost a vital part of our American heritage. America was born of protest, revolution, and mistrust of government. Subservient societies neither maintain nor deserve freedom for long.

Another source you probably won't trust. Though how you could trust american sources that have lied repeatedly is hard to comprehend.

On July 18, 2013, I linked to a video suggesting chemicals going to rebels from Saudi Arabia. There also were scattered reports of rebels having chemical agents. Now there is a report saying that the gas event in Syria arose from a Saudi shipment of chemical weapons to an al Qaeda linked group. This contradicts the U.S. intelligence report of Syrian government activity. The article is credible. One of the reporters is an AP correspondent, even though the article is not an AP report. Another report says that rebels admitted this to the reporter. Here is a similar report. There is also an interview with an anonymous member of the Libyan Defense Ministry. His comments explain the motivation of the Saudi Prince Bandar in alledgedly shipping the chemicals, suggest that the nerve gas came from Israel, and point to Saudi Arabia’s support of al Qaeda and Chechnyan terrorists. Solid information in all these matters is hard to come by.
