First time I've seen comments that didn't disgust me. Normally I cringe to look at comments, but these are excellent.
A massive effort could be used to flood the system with a tremendous amount of mal-information via phone/text. After all if they know the government is listening that could be used to advance their cause. Coded bogus messages that require sophisticated cracking could also be created. Flood the phones with so much information that it is impossible to decipher what is good information.
Sounds great, now, how are you going to get enough people to do it in a coordinated, consistent and ongoing manner to bog the "system" down? This will be on the news cycle until the next crisis emerges and then it will go bye-bye, football season is right around the corner and then the mundanes can't be bothered.
