U.S. to take out Syrian air power if Geneva 2 talks fail: senator

John McCain with Joe lieberman in Turkey refugee or terrorist camp.

In an Unscheduled Press conference on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum at the Dead Sea in Jordan. Senator John McCain Proclaims the fall of Assad is inevitable, in which further added if the peace talks otherwise known as Geneva 2 talks should the talk fail.

The pro war interventionist Senator John McCain added increased military aid to the rebels including the possibility of air strikes agaisnt the Syrian Arab Army forces whom largely are fighting the Syrian Muslim Brotherhood and its brigades. Unfortunately the Free Syrian Army and the SNC are not moderates its now likely the new replacement for its SNC leader would be someone that is not as seen as Democratic.

Should we take John McCain threats as serious?

In 2011 two years on March 6, 2011 John McCain proclaimed Gaddafi as 'Insane' and Ouster Is Inevitable.
McCain: Qaddafi 'Insane' and Ouster Is Inevitable

Sen. John McCain said today on ABC's This Week that Libyan ruler Muammar el-Qaddafi is "insane" and should step down.

McCain told host Christiane Amanpour that he hopes Qaddafi understands the "inevitability" of his ouster and should step down immediately. He added, however, that the U.S. cannot interfere or appear to dictate any reforms and should instead offer investment and assistance.

"Perhaps the biggest thing we could do in the long run is investment," said the Arizona Republican, ranking member of the Senate Armed Services Committee.
It has being two years later after the NATO's successful intervention Libya lays in ruins and its new selected leaders arent doing anything to bring peace nor stability as the Libyan Muslim Brotherhood is gaining support and strength in the east. Libya lays in Chaos at the same time CNN was self prompting Libyan tourism on 8 reasons you should go to Libya.

John McCain trip in Jordan was avoided by the Mainstream news outlets as none news. The question remains who is taking charge at the foreign policy? if the foreign policy is not directed by the president then the us armed services committee is overstepping its authority and powers.

Its amazing that anyone, especially Syrians, would believe that John McCain and Joe Lieberman actually give 2 $#@!s about the Syrian people.

A good rule of thumb is that when Joe Lieberman becomes the champion of a cause, that cause is usually wrong.

It is plainly obvious that they are taking advantage of the situation to push what they perceive (incorrectly) to be the strategic interests of the US. They have even said so in their own words, that the real motivation is to weaken Iran, not help the Syrian people.

These evil $#@!s want more war. Sadly,, they are just the public face of powerful interests behind the scenes.

They will not stop, nor will they be satisfied till the whole world is engulfed.
Liberty is lost through complacency and a subservient mindset. When we accept or even welcome automobile checkpoints, random searches, mandatory identification cards, and paramilitary police in our streets, we have lost a vital part of our American heritage. America was born of protest, revolution, and mistrust of government. Subservient societies neither maintain nor deserve freedom for long.

He's not going anywhere and McCain isn't the commander in chief.

And this isn't about Assad. Assad is just a puppet for the same generals who have ruled Syria since the 1930's. They will never relinquish power and will not "fall".

If there's a massive ground invasion and occupation then they will "fall" and retreat to the mountains to wage a bloody civil war for the next decade

But Warlord doesn't see this happening. Quite frankly it'd be good for business if it did though.

Fall where and to who? A divided opposition? The guys who run Assad will just wage a civil war. There will be no stability or anything. Libya had militias and whatever and some form of decades old opposition. Warlord doesn't think there's anything like that in Syra. Although Obama has said "Assad must go" he doesn't know if he will back it up this time.

Warlord heard a rumor in a local village that there was a Peace conference sponsored by the Russians that the Syrian government are attending.

2012 - Syrian Christians Fear Genocide if al-Assad Falls to Muslim Extremists

Christian leaders in Syria are warning that if the al-Assad regime falls to Muslim extremists, there may well be a mass genocide of Christians.

2012 - Christian Massacres: A Result of U.S. Foreign Policy

It has been claimed that U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East could not be intentionally designed to do a better job of liquidating Christians than is happening nowadays. It's likely true.

Assad is a well educated puppet. He's an eye doctor who was practicing in London before they made him King.

Russia Gave the finger at Israel, over the S300s, there are reports of them already in Syria yet McCWar as if there are none and he thinks its a walk like in the park as in Libya.

Did McCain read the Intel about the Russian Fleet in the Med or did he avoided that report?

The Syria govt will fall the same way the Libyan govt fell. If you didnt know this, Qaddafi fell together with the "puppets" controlling him and just like Qaddafi fell, Assad will fall too if NATO force is directly applied to the war and whatever front man behind Assad will have his already difficult task dealing with the Jihadist that much harder.

Russia is the wildcard but what they gave the Syrians are weapons for conventional war. But conventional war is not what you want to wage against NATO because you will lose. It is just that simple

Syria is not Libya dude. Warlord has to remind you that. Libya has tribes who can pledge and remove loyalty and keep law and order in most areas. Syria has none of this and is being supported by Iran and Russia. Nothing will happen to them. The "rebellion" has been an utter failure for years.

So were gonna probably stick some troops over there, send them in to certain death and then cry about how we need more troops to go avenge the death of the first troops that should have never been there.

McCain makes all kinds of pro-war statements. Usually wrong but he would love to see us in the middle of it. So far, Obama has been reluctant to send any miilitary aid to Syria.

Obama has no problem sending aid to the al-Qaeda-friendly Syrian rebels.

Rand Paul: Senate Is Arming Al-Qaeda and Rushing to War in Syria
That was in responce to a Senate bill- not to any Obama actions. Obama has so far not called for arming the resistance in Syria.
    http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1000...182221210.html
A key Senate committee overwhelmingly approved legislation that calls on the U.S. to provide small arms to moderate Syrian opposition groups, underscoring growing sentiment among lawmakers for a change in the U.S. approach to the conflict.

The 15-3 vote by the Senate Foreign Relations Committee showed broad support from both Democrats and Republicans for arming the rebels, though the legislation has to go through many more votes to be adopted, and even then wouldn't compel the administration to provide arms. Some lawmakers from each party voiced concern over the difficulty of ensuring weapons aren't misused and won't slip into the hands of radical Islamists aligned with al Qaeda.
President Barack Obama rebuffed a proposal last year to arm moderate rebel groups despite support for the move by top cabinet members, including the then-Central Intelligence Agency Director David Petraeus and then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton
And Rand actually said "allies of Al Qaeda"
Sen. Rand Paul, a Kentucky Republican, said lawmakers who supported the legislation were in effect supporting the provision of arms to rebel groups that are "the allies of al Qaeda," referring to the Islamist al-Nusra Front, a powerful force in the insurgency against Mr. Assad. "It's an irony you cannot overcome."

The Free Syrian Army moderates dont exist. Nor does the opposition. From the use of Child Soldiers to kidnapped bishops you cant call them moderates.

Has there ever been a conflict that McCain didn't want us to stick our nose into? How can a man that was a prisoner of war and tortured be so bloodthirsty?
