The fill-in guy is Howie Carr. Pretty supportive of Rand.
Interesting since I heard when Carr was filling in for Levin ~3 weeks ago and he was praising Cruz over and above that "libertarian stuff" from Rand Paul. It was cordial and all since he knows Rand's stock with the overall audience is top shelf.
Caught a few minutes of Hannity on my way to another job site today and some dude he had on his show was talking about some stuff and made a mention of how awesome it was that Rand said the senate needs to ask its questions to the apple CEO to a mirror instead.
Another day with Rand in the spot light.
I get disappointed when I come to this subforum and discover he DIDN'T do something that has everyone talking. lol. Its like I expect some breaking news story about Rand on a daily basis.
I am surprised Mr. Drudge didn't cover Rand's Apple comments but he buys into all the corporations avoiding taxes is a bad thing crap.
I guess Rand schooled Drudge today as well and he was too ashamed to cover it as part of his Apple links.

I think its hillarious that these people still consider Rand Paul a libertarian... its watering down the word to a ridiculous degree. I appreciate that Rand Paul is doing everything he can to distance himself from the label but they just won't stop...

Having not read the quotes or really having much of an idea of what the whole issue is about and why the apple CEO was before the senate ... America loves their apple. They may not want anyone else to "cheat" on taxes but Macintosh will be the first exception made - especially if it means lower priced products (which it does).
Notice how just about every union member (to my knowledge apple doesn't use any union labor) has apple products? How even the most "USA! USA!" advocates have "made in china" apple products?
Apple get the green light for whatever reason. No one is going to speak poorly of them, only praise.
If it were Walmart being accused of the same thing ... Rand would be stoned for defending them. I have no idea why. I depend of walmart (and their prices) so much more than apple.
Whatever. Glad Rand can score some brownie points for defending capitalism.
The morons couldn't bring out Wall Street for a berating after they bailed most of them out. Imagine Rand calling that out. Far too embarrassing for the Dems. Google has also bought their silence. Politically there's not many corporates they can bring out for a lashing... they should try the accountants. The big 5 firms have the market sewn up. But I'm guessing they also have the senators bought off LOL
