LePage might have 2 opponents in 2014, thus he has a chance of being reflected

This is exciting news. In 2010 the statists split the vote and Gov. LePage was elected. If that happens in 2014, he might be able to win again. I wouldn't call him proliberty but he is better than decent. Perhaps 1 of the best governors in the nation.

The 2014 gubernatorial race has begun

Great news. We owe LePage our support for standing with the Ron Paul delegates against the establishment.

This. He's ok to start with, given the field, and he made a big difference to the story line when it really mattered.

Auto correct. It was supposed to be reelected, not reflected. He is currently a governor. So it would be reelected as governor.

Hope so. He would win a 3 way race. It's the only way he could win really with a 39% approval and 55% disapproval.

I like him, he's ok and has my vote.

    Election 2014: Maine Governor
    Maine Governor: LePage (R) 40%, Michaud (D) 40%, Cutler (I) 14%

Democratic Congressman Mike Michaud is tied with incumbent Republican Paul LePage in Rasmussen Reports’ first look at Maine’s three-way race for governor.

A new statewide telephone survey finds Michaud and LePage each earning the support of 40% of Likely Maine Voters. Independent Eliot Cutler is a distant third with 14% of the vote. One percent (1%) likes another candidate, and five percent (5%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

I don't really know his record, but he became a legend in my mind when he supported the valid Maine delegation. Hope he wins!!

How is he going to be reflected? With a mirror?

    Who is Eliot Cutler?

The guy who got Lepage elected!

Lawyer and political insider. Has never held elected office, but has been a beltway staffer and political appointee. Liberal Democrat who pretends to be independent. Ran before in 2010.

Anyone who wants Lepage back should be working for Cutler, not Lepage. Lepage's 40% is rock solid. Help Cultler draw a few points from Michaud and it's over. That's what happened last time.

Angus King just endorsed Eliot Cutler.

Even if that only sways 1 or 2 percent of voter to go for Cutler, Lepage is going to win.

That's great news. If it is a Republican swing year like a lot of people are predicting, it's even better news. There is a real (though minor) possibility that both Maine and Mass are going to elect Republican governors this year. Though, the Mass guy is a RINO, he is still better than the vast majority of Democrats in MA. Heck, even HI might elect a Republican (though again, a RINO) as governor.

Anyway, I'm proud of what LePage has been able to do in Maine. He hasn't prevented all of the Democratic tax increases and such, but he has take many strong stands and fought the fight, even if he sometimes loses. A very principled man!
