Goodness do I hate tornadoes. Ive been far too close to getting killed by far too many of them. Some people think they are exciting. If you see a tornado coming straight towards you and you think it's cool and fun, you are either a liar or a future Darwin Award candidate. However most of these people who think tornadoes are fun have never stared one down in front of it.
I think they are 'cool' in that they are an immense expression of nature's power, and fascinating to watch... not as in I can't wait until one comes to my neighborhood....
But we get earthquakes, here.

I think they are cool too. But when I see one half a mile away coming directly towards me, I go into hyper survival mode and all I am thinking about is how I can live to see another day.Originally Posted by sailingaway
