He has a point -- it's a shame these "Republicans" and "Evangelicals" are going to take it the wrong way.
You'd be surprised actually. There's a lot of re-thinking about the Iraq war and on foreign policy within the GOP. Not all of them are "neocons" and a lot of them are sick of people like Kristol who want war everywhere. They believe they did not sign up for that.
It's hard to be ultra cautious about wording 24x7, but there is nothing wrong with what Rand said. Some may attempt to take it out of context, but the media spinners do that no matter what.
