One just have to wonder how humans survived up to this point with dangerous stuff like gluten and peanut butter around.

American strains of wheat have a much higher gluten content (which is needed to make light, fluffy Wonder Bread and giant bagels) than those traditionally found in Europe. This super-gluten was recently introduced into our agricultural food supply and now has "infected" nearly all wheat strains in America.

I also believe it is because of the vaccines. Peanut butter for instance makes my point; more children become peanut sensitive/allergic because peanut oil is used as an adjuvant in many vaccines. Injecting children with peanut oil directly to their blood stream, rather than allowing their digestive tract to digest it slowly has created a major problem.
