HB2574: Citizens Protection From Unwarranted Surveillance Act

    http://legiscan.com/AZ/text/HB2574/2013

This bill would prohibit the unlawful use of drones to gather, store or collect evidence of any type, including audio or video recordings, or both, or other information that is not specifically outlined in a search warrant.

Arizonans, please call or write Justin Pierce:

    Phone Number: (602) 926-5495
    Email Address: jpierce@azleg.gov

and ask him to schedule a hearing on this important bill. He may allow this to die in committee.

You might also want to ask him to oppose HCR2009: A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION supporting the selection of Arizona as one or more national test ranges for the operation of unmanned aircraft systems in shared national airspace.

    Thanks!
Based on the idea of natural rights, government secures those rights to the individual by strictly negative intervention, making justice costless and easy of access; and beyond that it does not go. The State, on the other hand, both in its genesis and by its primary intention, is purely anti-social. It is not based on the idea of natural rights, but on the idea that the individual has no rights except those that the State may provisionally grant him. It has always made justice costly and difficult of access, and has invariably held itself above justice and common morality whenever it could advantage itself by so doing.
