In this interview, Rand said all options should be on the table, and that he agrees that should be the case. Looks like Traditional Conservative was correct in interpreting Rand in his previous statements on the matter.

I just hope Rand doesn't vote to confirm Hagel, because I'm afraid Rubio would use that vote in an attack ad against Rand, and it would be very effective.

Well, there used to be many Orthodox Christians, Maronite, and Roman Catholics in Syria and Lebanon since the French colonial days, but many of them fled those countries.
