Never heard of this author until now, although I generally tend to assume that any columnist at Lew Rockwell's website is trustworthy.

So I read this article, and learned more about why the authorities want to restrict gun rights. They began this against freed slaves!

There are some interesting links in this article. I speculate at least some of you are already familiar with all the points made here, but still, good reading.

PS: I also learned that Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., whom Barack Obama and all the anti-gun zealots like to invoke in their anti-gun crusade, owned an "arsenal" and depended on firearm-toting bodyguards. He even applied for a carry permit!!!!

Oh, the irony.
