As some of you know, I was blocked from Wikipedia for three weeks...The Preference Revelation Problem and Voluntary Exchange Theory.
There's a new editor, SPECIFICO, who claims to be an Austrian economist...but his edits clearly indicate otherwise. Let me share some of the edits that he, Rich and Rubin have made to entries on important economic concepts...
- Other people's money - Milton Friedman - History - Talk - AFD
- Consumer sovereignty - Frédéric Bastiat - History - Talk
- Dollar voting - Ludwig von Mises - History - Talk
- Partial knowledge - Friedrich Hayek - History - Talk
- Benefit principle - James M. Buchanan - History - Talk
- Heterogeneous activity - John Stuart Mill - History - Talk
Additionally, because of the editors I've mentioned, both legal plunder and concentrated benefits and dispersed costs now are incorrectly redirected to tragedy of the commons.
These concepts provide some of the strongest economic arguments in support of free-markets. You should definitely have a firm grasp on all these concepts...and ideally you should want others to as well. Which is why it would be great if any of you could help improve these entries and help defend them against editors who would want nothing more than to remove these notable concepts from Wikipedia.
