Thread: I don't have to post my name.

  1. #1

I don't have to post my name.

There has been much back and forth between two schools of thought WRT posting your real name or attaching your real name to your political pronouncements.

One is the "John Hancock" school of thought, that it is best to boldly proclaim your intentions and refusal to comply right in your enemy's face.

The other is it is best to be anonymous, the better to stay under the radar and not make it easy for bastards. Much of the founder's writings were done this way, under anonymous pseudonyms.

I am in the latter camp.

However, I've come to find out it makes no difference, when I read the following story.

(And yes, I know it's been posted already, I'm only remarking on this particular aspect of it.)

West Point center cites dangers of ‘far right’ in U.S.

    http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/...#ixzz2ISRtg8JF

It says anti-federalists “espouse strong convictions regarding the federal government, believing it to be corrupt and tyrannical, with a natural tendency to intrude on individuals’ civil and constitutional rights. Finally, they support civil activism, individual freedoms, and self government. (Oh, the horror - AF) Extremists in the anti-federalist movement direct most their violence against the federal government and its proxies in law enforcement.”

So, now, here I am, at the top of the ECHELON list.

Well, so be it then, $#@! $#@!ing you, you miserable bunch of cocksucking Fed-Coats.

    Not yet..

but keep pushing, you may be able to instigate some.
Liberty is lost through complacency and a subservient mindset. When we accept or even welcome automobile checkpoints, random searches, mandatory identification cards, and paramilitary police in our streets, we have lost a vital part of our American heritage. America was born of protest, revolution, and mistrust of government. Subservient societies neither maintain nor deserve freedom for long.

I think the verbiage indicates they intend to instigate some. Digital paper trail, perhaps?

    Civil activism.... ohhhhh noooooo!

Besides, having you IP number is having your name. Im sure, if they wanted too, they could get the names and locations of every person or troll that posts on this forum.

    No, me either.
I was speaking of them. They seem to want a fight sometimes.

Sorry. This was the best we could do...

It goes both ways. There are many times I'm glad I used my real name on here, there are other times I wish I hadn't.

That is what they want because that is what they are good at and know how to handle. What they dont know how to handle is everything but violence.

I have said it before, if I'm not already on the list, then I'm doing something wrong. It brings to mind 'Sons of Liberty' by Jim Lampos. "Take my name down, I'm an enemy to this king."

    I cannot claim authorship.

RPF member cbrons deserves the credit for posting first here, but he claims to have just run across the term on FascistBook.

If the worst should happen, I'll be on my front porch, with bayonet fixed. If, God forbid, it becomes the nightmare I will vanish into thin air, and come back when the crisis is over.
