US Army Targets Tea Party Movement as Extremists in 2016 Civil War Scenario
Posted on August 16, 2012 by Dr. Eowyn
The U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), established on July 1, 1973, is the official command component that is responsible for training and developing the United States Army.
Headquartered at Fort Eustis, Virginia. TRADOC is charged with overseeing training of Army forces, the development of operational doctrine, and the development and procurement of new weapons systems. TRADOC operates 33 schools and centers at 16 Army installations for our soldiers, other-service personnel, international soldiers and civilians.
The official mission statement for TRADOC states:
“TRADOC develops the Army’s Soldiers and Civilian leaders and designs, develops and integrates capabilities, concepts and doctrine in order to build a campaign-capable, expeditionary Army in support of joint warfighting capability through Army Force Generation (ARFORGEN).”
Those “concepts and doctrines” include the envisioning of likely future scenarios in which the United States may find ourselves and how the US Army will conduct its operations. That is why TRADOC’s Pamphlet 525-3-1, Army’s Operating Concept 2016-2028, issued on August 19, 2010, is of importance and concern. Why? Because the document envisions a civil war breaking out in America in 2016 — a war instigated by “political reactionaries” — “an extremist militia motivated by the goals of the ‘tea party’ movement.”

UPDATE (Aug. 17): Thanks to reader Kevin McDonald, you can read OC (Army Operating Concept 2016-2028) for yourself by going here, or if that link is scrubbed, I’ve saved the document to FOTM’s media library: TRADOC Op Con 2016-2028!
Citing the precedents of Abraham Lincoln during the Civil War and Dwight D. Eisenhower sending troops to Little Rock in 1957, the president mobilizes the military and the Department of Homeland Security, to regain control of the city. This scenario requires us to consider how domestic intelligence is gathered and shared, the role of local law enforcement (to the extent that it supports the operation), the scope and limits of the Insurrection Act–for example maintaining a military chain of command but in support of the Attorney General as the Department of Justice is the Lead Federal Agency (LFA) under the conditions of the Act–and the roles of the local, national, and international media. [...] The Insurrection Act does not need to be changed for the 21st century. Because it is broadly written, the law allows the flexibility needed to address a range of threats to the Republic.
What we must consider in the design of homeland defense or security exercises is translating the Act into action. The Army Operating Concept describes Homeland Defense as the protection of ‘U.S. sovereignty, territory, domestic population, and critical defense infrastructure against external threats and aggression, or other threats as directed by the president’ (OC, p. 27).”
...And now, read OC’s “Scenario 2016″ envisioned by the U.S. Army:[/h] “The Scenario (2016)US Army has a Field Manual on Civilian Internment
Posted on May 8, 2012 by Dr. Eowyn
Did you know that the United States Army has a field manual on the internment of civilians?
Titled FM 3-19.40 Military Police Internment/Resettlement Operations, the field manual was first published in 2001, during the George W. Bush administration.
Like you no doubt, I immediately thought: “Though difficult to justify, the Army manual on internment must be because of the 9-11 terrorist attacks and the resultant Patriot Act!”

West Point Issues Report on the “Far Right” Terrorists in America
Posted on January 18, 2013
If this article does not serve as a wakeup call for all those on the fence regarding who your loving government now considers a “terrorist” I don’t know what will. The power structure loves to use language to divide and conquer their subjects, and this report is a perfect example of that technique. These days, when the term “far right” is used in the mainstream media or in government/military reports, they are talking about those that believe in the Constitution as the supreme law of the land. A preeminent set of laws that must be followed by everyone, including the President, Congress, large corporations and the military. Meanwhile, the “moderate right” is defined as Neo-cons. You know, the torture loving, Constitution-ignoring, militaristic chicken-hawks that still hold on to the reins of power within the Republican establishment. This is supposedly the “moderate right,” while the “far right” just wants to uphold the Constitution and Bill of Rights. Of course, the power structure doesn’t want to have to deal with the Constitution any longer, so of course those that defend it are “far right” or “terrorists” in the mind of the state.
The report I am referring to was just released by the Combating Terrorism Center at the U.S. Military Academy and it is titled: “Challengers from the Sidelines: Understanding America’s Violent Far-Right.” From the Washington Times:
A West Point think tank has issued a paper warning America about “far right” groups such as the “anti-federalist” movement, which supports “civil activism, individual freedoms and self-government.”
Those seem like the types of things only an America terrorist would support, right? (see my piece You Know You Are a Conspiracy Theorist If…)
The report issued this week by the Combating Terrorism Center at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, N.Y., is titled “Challengers from the Sidelines: Understanding America’s Violent Far-Right.”
But its latest study turns inward and paints a broad brush of people it considers “far right.”
No more Al Qaeda, you are the terrorist now. I and others have been predicting this for many, many years. We have arrived.
