If they cannot indoctrinate liberty out of our youth then they will just declare the individualist to have a mental illness.
they aren't that stupid. they'll just pull out autism and put in something else. Europe uses ICD not DSM-5.

Zip, you must be an engineer, am I right?

Pete said it best, "I see Prohibited Persons".

Use your imagination and think where this will go in 20 years, not what it says right now, right here, on paper.

That's not how the Distrikt of Calamity works.

    1. Issue a Presidential Memorandum to require federal agencies to make relevant data available to the federal background check system.

    2. Address unnecessary legal barriers, particularly relating to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, that may prevent states from making information available to the background check system.

    3. Improve incentives for states to share information with the background check system.

    4. Direct the Attorney General to review categories of individuals prohibited from having a gun to make sure dangerous people are not slipping through the cracks.

    Fear not, citizen.

Mandatory yearly psychiatric evaluations will be required in the future.

And like physical evaluations that started in my workplace, are expanding out and will affect yours soon, no doctor in their right mind will vary in the slightest from the government mandated "norms" for fear of being sued or arrested.

So unless you are an Olympic athlete, with a 20 BMI and resting BP of 120/80, you will be declared "unfit for work".

And unless a battery of psych tests and a government approved head shrinker finds you "compliant and non aggressive" you will be declared unfit to possess firearms.

That would be a line in the sand. Not because I'd fail the tests, which I would (), but because I am not property.

    How,,?
They do now. They have been for some time,, with very little resistance.
There have been some stories posted here to that effect.

So how can you "Almost Guarantee" what has been happening won't happen with the New and improved Socialized and state mandated health care?
Liberty is lost through complacency and a subservient mindset. When we accept or even welcome automobile checkpoints, random searches, mandatory identification cards, and paramilitary police in our streets, we have lost a vital part of our American heritage. America was born of protest, revolution, and mistrust of government. Subservient societies neither maintain nor deserve freedom for long.

No. At least not without an act of Congress. And I think that is very unlikley.

I've never had a doctor ask me about guns in my home. And in a state like Arizona it would be like asking if you have a car. Something like 3/4ths of homes in Arizona have a gun. But close to half in the entire country have a gun. This kind of thing only makes sense to the percentage of the population that knows what they know about guns only from television. They don't have a clue how mainstream gun ownership is in most of the country.

I haven't either, but I seldom talk to Doctors. Others have had it happen.. Florida passed a law (couple years ago) forbidding it because it was an issue.

I have run across the subject in 2nd amendment research. It is not new,,

I knew I had heard that issue before thank you for the link! People can talk smack about Florida all they want but we definitely got some pretty nice stances on guns in this state.

Not a traditional psych eval, but I'd advise people to be careful when talking to their regular doctors. He might just write something down on your chart that triggers a red flag. I'm not sure which state records they are talking about wanting to share with the database, but be careful what you say to teachers, careful what you say to police, careful what you say to your social worker, etc.

And for an interesting dose of reality, tell your doctor you'd like to take a look at your chart/records. I bet the answer is NO.

Unfortunately, it has been that way for too long. To many it sounds like an fairy tale.

"Harken back children, to an ancient time, when all men walked as princes and kings. Armed cap-a-pie so that no other would invade his domain."

I won't tell a doctor a damn thing. When i was a much younger, foolish man, I went to the doctor for insomnia. He asked me fill out a questionaire and so i did. He came back and told me I was bi-polar. I thought that seemed odd since I've never had a problem with depression. He told me that I leaned harder towards the mania side of things. Which, if you knew me, would kind of make sense except for the fact that I don't have swings towards depression. He put me on some mood stabilizers (Zyprexa and Neurontin) and asked me to come back in a few months.

i never went back. I had gained 40 pounds in under two months! I would wake up in the morning and find empty Zebra Cake wrappers on the kitchen counter from midnight snacks that I couldn't remember happening. I had an insatiable craving for sugar. I quit taking the meds just before Thanksgiving that year and by Christmas i was close to my normal weight of around 160lbs. I have stretch marks on my thighs to this day.

Years later, my wife and i decided to have kids. While she was pregnant with our first child, we decided to get life insurance. I was denied because they found this "doctor's notes that said I was bi-polar. I went to my new Dr. and told her what had happened and she recommended me to a psychiatrist who, after several sessions, said I wasn't bi-polar and that I did have a tendency to be overly obsessive about things which could lead to what people would think of as maniacal but that certainly wasn't harmful. After that diagnosis I was finally able to get life insurance.

Of course, it's probably documented by two different doctors that I'm a maniac now. So I've got that going for me.

The FBI’s database currently contains the names of more than 150,000 veterans. They served our country honorably. They did nothing wrong. But, because they sought counseling for a traumatic experience while risking their lives for America, they have had their constitutional rights summarily revoked and are barred from gun ownership - with no due process whatsoever due to an unconstitutional EO.

This secret FBI list will soon include tens of millions of Americans -- including soldiers, police, and fire fighters -- with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder, anxiety disorder, depression, etc.

That's what is allowed in and this what will happen based on this new unconstitutional EO.
