It's gonna be Rubio or Ryan no matter how many calls we make.

The Tea Party also have their own response to the State of the Union. Bachmann did it in 2011, Cain did in 2012.

It's run by the Tea Party Express, you can contact them here: http://www.teapartyexpress.org/contact

We have a much better chance at getting Rand for that than for the GOP response. The GOP will just pick an establishment guy. Probably not Ryan because he's already done it, most likely Rubio.

Every network broadcasts the GOP response so it's worth a shot at trying to get him it.

Maybe they'll let Rand do it now so there's no pressure to give him a turn any closer to the election.

Maybe, but Rubio's the guy they really want to push. He's popular with their base who perceive him as "conservative", he's charismatic (like Obama and Hitler), he can deliver a response in Spanish and is their best shot at beating Rand in 2016 (by splitting the conservative vote so a RINO moderate wins).

Sorry to nitpick. But Obama is not charismatic. People thought he was when they saw music videos made out of his speeches. But unaided by such accoutrments, he's agonizing to hear. That's just my unbiased opinion as someone who hates him.

He's definitely more charismatic than his opponents in both the primaries and general elections.

But they may want to save Rubio's speech for a time closer to 2016

Is Hillary even worse than Obama? Sure. But she's like the sea hag from Popeye or something. I'd put everyone else he's run against a notch above him.

it takes only 2 minutes to contact these people and is worth a shot.

Bobby Jindal did one four years ago and it was a waste of time , he was awful and many consider him to be running in 2016.

I want Rand to win CPAC. This effort is also worth doing though. Anytime Rand can nail Obama is a good opportunity.

Everyone should at least contact McConnell and it's just a small form to do so. He most likely has the major prowess to pick who the GOP uses and it's crucial that we tell them to go on offense against the Prez's continual socialist rhetoric and policies and also the constant bullshitting of the American people. I also hit up TPE in case they make any moves.

Who actually does make the decision? Is it the RNC?

I dont know who makes the decision and if we should be contacting the RNC or not.

I just stuck with the congressional leaders because i'd think they would have a say in this.
