LOL... Right?!They file reports, but they assign their donors numbers, and report nothing about their addresses or employers. Simply put, the Socialists have a bigger right to privacy than you do.
The letter from their lawyer requesting the latest exemption is at this link. The socialists claimed, among other things, that the their supporters were targeted for threats of violence. People who donated to anti-gay marriage proposals in California experienced threats and violence, too. I suspect the left would have a public, loud fit if any of those groups filed for an exemption like this.
They talk about a precedent of economic consequences to their donors. Apparently people make it a point not to do business with Socialists. What the heck are socialists doing owning businesses?
