The worst kind. Kucinich is absolutely in love with the concept of the power of "thin air" currency debasement as a means of direct taxation. His answer to the Fed, in essence: Why borrow stolen value from currency that has to be paid back with interest, and why lend that same stolen value into existence through commercial banks, when we can simply steal that value directly and permanently instead--interest free, and not owe anything for the theft?!

If Kucinich had his way there would be no Fed, and no income or other taxes. Just one big whopper of an invisible inflation tax on a big whopper of a legal tender monopoly, with a single Treasury-inflated currency, that's all. And all new money would be SPENT into existence through the public sector.

Watch the video, which sounds both libertarian-ish and "Constitutional-ish", except for that slippery slip about a minute into his rant, where he paraphrases Article 1 Section 8 of the Constitution:

KUCINICH: "Article 1 Section 8!! ...power to coin or create money!"

Nowhere in the Constitution or any of its amendments does the word "create" appear in the context of money.
