Maine Liberty Summit
“The Liberty Movement in Maine: Past, Present and Future”
December 15, 2012
Bangor, Maine
Mission Statement: The goal of the Maine Liberty Summit is to form a broad coalition based on shared principles of individual liberty and non-aggression.
We will develop action steps that reject the omnipotence of the state over the individual and promote government that respects the sovereignty of the people. We will insist that the state and federal governments remain constrained to their enumerated, delegated powers, and promote tools such as state, local, and individual nullification to serve as a check on governmental authority at every level.
Guided by these principles and through these actions, we can lead Maine to become a free state that respects life, liberty, and property.
