Murdered NJ Prostitute’s Family File Wrongful Death Lawsuit
RIVERHEAD — The family of Shannan Gilbert, the New Jersey prostitute whose body was discovered near Ocean Parkway on December 2011 said Thursday that they filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the man they believe is responsible for her death. Ray added that Hackett gave Gilbert a narcotic to calm her down after she came into his house.
