Federal Reserve (and Friends) Have More Information regarding Successful Industries?

Considering how ingrained the Federal reserve is in the economy...

Do you think they have any concrete knowledge regarding which private companies to invest in/buy out? It seems like they could use the endless information they have (debit transactions, checks, payroll, etc?) to direct their endless capital to the industries they want to control in the future.

Is this a poppycock thought?

What I know for a fact... JP Morgan Chase is looking to buy out a High Frequency Trading firm in Chicago that I just got laid off from... I will gladly tell you who in private
