You may run for office...the obligation is there.

How about if we say thank you to Dr. Paul by running for local offices, nationwide ? Hundreds in each state. It seems Dr. Paul would appreciate if we picked up the torch this way.

Either run yourself or recruit a relative or friend. Tell them you'll take care of getting the signature petitions, if needed.

Find out now what city council, schoolboard, township seats are open. Just do it. Dr. Paul's last day in office is January 2nd, so we have until then to pledge or let us know you already filed. Most local seats require Declaration of Candidacy papers in late December.


Maybe we can get a website created, where folks can pledge to run for a local office. Have a catchy slogan.


For me, I'm running for a local township position. Volunteer, no pay, lots of boring meetings. But if I win, I will have the opportunity to vote for liberty. I like that idea.
