Maine 11/6/12 election results thread, including the 5 Ron Paul endorsed candidates

Defense of Liberty PAC candidates: 5 out of 16 won for 31%, if you count the failed US Senate candidate, the liberty candidate results = 5 out of 18 or 28%, there might have been other races with liberty candidates but I'm not aware of them; 5 of the 6 incumbents won; all 10 new candidates lost; many of the races were close; candidates outside of the Portland area did much better than candidates in the Portland area

Ron Paul Endorsed candidates: 2 out of 5 won for 40%; the 1 state senate candidate Ron Paul endorsed lost

Ballot Questions: There were 5 ballot questions in Maine, Q1 was arguably pro-liberty, Q2, Q3, Q4 and Q5 were all about increasing spending by issuing bonds to expand the government; Q1 passed; thankfully, Q2 failed; unfortunately, Q3, Q4 and Q5 passed; the governor indicated he is going to delay issues the bonds which passed, perhaps until his term is up in 2014
