The road to Hell is paved with good intentions. Example? The central bank, the new deal, the great society, all the other little and giant welfare schemes, all the wars conducted under the auspices of "freedom" and "democracy" and more. Now that everything's said and done, after calculating the insurmountable debts several future generations owe and the trillion dollar plus deficits, try and tell me how going against plain Jane cut and dry supply and demand economics is "treasonous". How many "do-good/feel good/moral/ethically correct/politically correct/equality based" actions and programs must we take or run to later find out a year, a decade, a century later we're totally and utterly screwing (read: f#$%ing) ourselves?
