"The true patriot is motivated by a sense of responsibility and out of self-interest for himself, his family, and the future of his country to resist government abuse of power. He rejects the notion that patriotism means obedience to the state. Resistance need not be violent, but the civil disobedience that might be required involves confrontation with the state and invites possible imprisonment." -Ron Paul

It's fake (checked it a few days ago and now -- the numbers don't change).

That poll is rigged. Yesterday he was at 4700 at one time and now he is back down to 4500.

Maybe they are trying to make it appear "fair and balanced".

Yes, the numbers seem strange. Let's test this. I just voted, and Paul currently has 4638 votes (7%).

If you feel like wasting ten seconds voting in this poll, please post your numbers.
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animating contest of freedom -- go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.

This poll doesn't appear rigged to me, but who knows. Yesterday before I voted it was at 4492 votes for Paul. Now it's at 4645.

It is curious that such a no-name poll has so many total votes though (roughly 70,000).
