"Look, the American people have chosen to have a fiat money standard because they want a welfare state. You cannot have a gold standard and a welfare state at the same time. You have to make the choice. We have made a decision as a society that we’ll be dealing with the welfare state." -Alan Greenspan

I don't even remember what channel it is. Doesn't Fox Business stream it as well?

Public education is not education ... it is schooling.
Our military is not defense ... it is warmongering and empire building.
Government police do not protect ... they control.
Regulations do not regulate ... they protect the status quo.
Government banks do not distribute money based on effort ... it is gifted to close friends ... and some of it trickles down.

The result is war, poverty, fear, chaos, and hopelessness for most people with abundance for a few elite.

cavuto set up Ron's interview announcement on fox news by questioning what all the foreign aid we've spent in the middle east has gotten us, it was pretty sweet. I think Cavuto agrees with Ron on this and a lot of other issues.

Boy... didnt you wish this happened during when Ron was actively campaigning? Not that I was wishing that people died... Just that if people died because of this lame Arab Spring, it should have happened during a time when Ron was trying to convince people that a "non-interventionalist" foreign policy is the best way to go.

Where's Michael Scheuer on this? He needs to be educating the masses when this stuff blows up in our face.

Excellent monologue by Cavuto to start the show. I think he's the closest we have to being one of us left in the media not named Napolitano or Stossel.

Unfortunately too many Republicans will probably see this as a reason for more war, not less interventionism and a change in foreign policy.
