Schifference, do you think that Rand Paul would have done better than Ron Paul? It is possible that a complete unknown like Rand could have done better but I doubt it. There was a time when they were both publicly hinting at maybe entering the race. If that happened, do you think Rand would have done better than Paul? If they were both in the race, I think Rand would have had almost no support.

I think if Ron supported Rand and the liberty movement supported him early on he would have been a bigger player. His message delivery is better and he would have done better in the debates than Ron. His personal appeal would be more attractive to the regular moron watching the debate. Ron often speaks in a way that unless you already knew what he was saying you might not understand his message. Hands down Rand delivers a message better than Ron and is younger more vibrant and comes off more presidential. Not looking to turn this into an argument. I like Ron and support him and think he is a true patriot and American. Maybe the last American Hero. It appears that nowadays the rules are retrofitted to the predetermined result. So it probably doesn't matter who runs because they wont get in unless they have been anointed.
