Please consider donating to the Mises Caucus today. We are TAKING OVER the LP.

We have big plans including creating a program to bring libertarians like Maj Toure and Tom Woods to college campuses.

We have several LP Mises Caucus Members who won elected office in 2020 including multiple City Council seats.

Your recurring donation is what helps us to set these ideas into motion.

Romney was impressed by how Ryan has managed to successfully present himself as some sort of fiscal conservative sage, and have many conservative blogs believe it, despite all his votes including the one he made in 2008 for the TARP bailout.

If he can do that, maybe Romney will truly be Reagan in their eyes by late October.

Paul Ryan is so fantastic with numbers that he can balance the budget in 40 years.

The Medicare Part D extension was as bad as TARP if not worse. It's a slight degree below Obamacare which is saying something.

When we accept or even welcome automobile checkpoints, random searches, mandatory identification cards, and paramilitary police in our streets, we have lost a vital part of our American heritage. Rush nor Hannity nor Levin will talk about those 2 atrocious votes that the "great" fiscal conservative put forth. No way.

It's being officially announced tomorrow, and almost all Americans are finding out about Ryan being Romney's VP for the first time tomorrow.

From what I've been told, Paul Ryan has a plan
It's all about taking action and not being lazy. So you do the work, whether it's fitness or whatever. It's about getting up, motivating yourself and just doing it.

And how would that be announced tonight?,, unless it was known.

It is announced because the announcer was told to announce it.

but it is only official tomorrow,, because???

    As I said,,silly games.

Paul Ryan is a bad pick. He would not make a great president and won't get anyone excited about Romney's campaign. Romney must be playing for second place. Just going through the motions to pretend we have a choice.

clap clap. Ryan will not shield Romney from the Romneycare debate which will stick a fork in his candidacy and life story.

    See, "Dog and pony show"
Though I find most of the Definitions have been cleaned up.
"Dog and pony show" is a colloquial term which has come to mean a highly promoted, often over-staged performance, presentation, or event designed to sway or convince opinion for political, or less often, commercial ends. Typically, the term is used to connote disdain, jocular lack of appreciation, or distrust of the message being presented or the efforts undertaken to present it.
For a more accurate Dog and Pony show,,you need to find select bars south of the border..
or some low class unnamed porn sites.

I agree. Romney can't be that dumb. He knows Ryan would not make the best president and he is certainly not going to bring in any new voters.

Someone tell Romney it was the other Paul we wanted.

Romney's thinking: Man, I've got to pick a HARDCORE fiscal conservative because I'm such a big-government boob.

Reality: Paul Ryan's fiscal conservatism sucks.

Total fail pick. Going to be easy to pick apart.

  33. #29
Just what the Republicans needed, another big-spending white guy with a comb over. Talk about change. Although to be fair to Romney, I believe the part in Ryan's hair begins on the right side of his head and flows naturally to the left, while the opposite is true for Romney. I guess that's something.

Vote on Drudge Report. Was Paul Ryan a good choice? Currently, 79% say yes. Let's change that.
