Seems like every year (or even every few months) is when the "next big crisis" is surely due to happen. Eventually that will be true.

I would have been more convinced if they had simply put up this graphic: http://www.usdebtclock.org/.

Most of the Eurozone stuff does not matter to most people living in the United States. The people at the top are panicking, but the people on the ground living paycheck to paycheck and dealing with fluctuating prices don't care. I have actually been encountering growing optimism from the low gas prices. This whole Southern European mess has taken everyone's eyes off of our economy and our financial issues. Had it not been for the Eurozone, you can guarantee the U.S. debt downgrade would have stayed in the press longer and countries would be wondering whether when we'll be downgraded again.

If anything, states and cities going bankrupt is a good thing because then they can begin to reallocate their resources and fix their unbalanced books. The election is not projected to be nearly as close as this blog suggests. Obama looks like he will skate to re-election. The real battle is over the Senate.

Unfortunately, a collapse of the Euro will cause a collapse of China and India, which will cause a further collapse of Brazil, Australia, etc. A worldwide economic catastrophe would definitely have an impact here.

    Rand Benedict Paul.
Not only did he sell us out, this douche bag did it to his own father! I'm more upset him selling his father out. I don't care who i think is going to win i would never sell my father out. If his willing to sell his father out what else is for sale?
