    Private Drones

Let's be realistic here. Technology is getting better, and soon we'll each be able to buy our own private drones, cuz' they're basically just remote controlled planes, but bigger!

Now, assuming, they are owned by civilians (or companies), they should not be armed, and should not contain the super-recording technology the military uses.

In a libertarian society, would such civilian drones by permitted? Or would it be a state-by-state thing, something kinda like car laws?

Cost would be too exorbitant. The only way those things exist is because they're built with stolen tax dollars.

It's still a hypothetical for rich people.

Ultimately, they will come under the strict regulation of the FAA and will be used primarily by local law enforcement (although will also include FBI, NSA, ATF, ICE, TSA, et al) throughout the USA to replace helicopters in order to cut costs and ensure 24/7 air support is available. Also their usage will be implemented into a covert total surveillance grid, much like the current wireless CCTV systems being setup globally. Their implementation will subsequently result in bearing a new technocratic occupation, e.g., crime monitor specialists, who will receive advanced training so as to maintain live tabs on audio, video, x-ray, and CBR alerts all throughout each and every city across the United States of America.

You can call it a conspiracy theorem if you like, but you just watch and see. George Orwell’s depictions were close but not nearly close enough.
