I am not sure if this email means that PFH will be suspended. I imagine it is costly to make those calls, so if they are essentially out of cash, they may not be able to keep funding it. The email did states that there will be more updates to follow, so we will have to see.

How about placing the blame on those who blacked out any and all coverage and only put out hit pieces whenever we gained momentum. Blame those running caucuses and conventions who seek to stifle our momentum by cheating and disenfranchising.

Don't blame the people here, no matter whether their contributions are large or small, for helping the movement. Blame those who stand in our way because we threaten their gravy train.

Money was never going to be our strongest point. The economy is in shittier shape than 2008, and this is a campaign that is driven by youthful college students in debt up to their eyeballs.

We don't get support from bankers.

I just paid $60 in convention fees and I may end up sleeping in my truck in a parking lot outside the GA state convention this weekend; that's if I decide to stay overnight. That's my contribution.

Plan B - Go down fighting. Let's not turn on each other when we should be stacking sandbags around our hill-top for a Vietnam-style fire base over-run. They have the numbers. We have our stubbornness.

If something bad happens, we will be blamed. If something good happens, we will get no credit. If nothing happens, we will be forgotten.

If someone isn't actively campaigning, they are suspending campaigning.

I am not moneybombing a suspended campaign.

Yo guys! Lets start in-fighting instead of focusing on getting the delegates to Tampa and putting up a fight for Liberty. Fair-weather supporters, please exit stage left. Thanks.

This is a very divisive post and it's not helping.

Let's get a video message from Ron that he's still running for president in 2012 and that's all we need. The e-mail the campaign sent out was poorly worded. They should have simply said the focus was on the delegate strategy and it's working.

I'm guessing the email meant that you should stop expecting big tv ad buys. The money isn't there for that.

Is it really that smart to be bitching to people for not coming up with more money in the middle of the biggest financial catastrophe the nation - and perhaps the world - has ever experienced?

Get on board with the new reality - money isn't going to be there, what will matter is what you can do without needing money to fuel it.

If he had better ad he could of pulled 1 million in 24 hours with no problem. Maybe something like showing his crowds/poll numbers vs Mitts. And end with the question to Republicans want to beat Obama in November? I think he would have no money issues.

I see where eleganz is coming from. The campaign should not have sent out that email, IMO. This is a double-edged sword. The campaign needs money to perform. We need to see performance to be motivated to donate.

We need a major delegate win this weekend from the grassroots to boost our morale.

The reason why people stopped giving is because Ron stopped running...it is a vicious cycle. Ron, after NH, didn't really campaign hard, he really didn't even campaign hard enough in NH or Iowa, if you ask me. Santorum and Bachmann campaigned hard. So, why should people give to a candidate that perpetually had one foot in and one foot out. I wouldn't blame the grassroots, they are the one keeping Paul relevant and in with delegates.

I did a lot of PFH in the beginning, but scaled off greatly after Nevada. It is frankly too costly for me to do it, as it takes time away from my business. It is one thing to sit here with a browser tab open to RPF and comment now and then, it is entirely different to stop calling my customers, and start calling voters.

I am sure it is the same for others as well.

Get defensive and continue to do nothing while people who have been working hard now have to pick up even more slack because so many are too depressed to go forward.

    Some revolution huh?

Ron Paul has not quit, he is being wise with the money he has, HIS NAME IS NOT NEWT GINGRICH. when they train special ops, all the fancy kung fu means jack sh t if the persons mental strenth is not there under pressue IN EXTREME ENEMY ENVIRONMENTS. In the British army, the motto is ADAPT OR DIE. Infact, the OK guys outdoor convention is the kinda stuff that drives Ron Paul not to quit, he'll look at that and it will drive him. RP is like the special ops guys that keep going for over 30 years.

I hope Rand isn't who we run in 2016...or you'll lose a nice chunk of our support and trade it for neocons who "sort of like him".

The email said we are still going for delegates, so that's what we should do. Trying to win the popular vote is a pointless cause. I think Ron Paul is wise to admit that and work on getting delegates.

Winning requires some superstars and many 'fair-weather' supporters. Is there some chance you don't already know this?
