I wonder if more independents are going to go for Ron Paul in these states, that voted for Clinton/Obama in '08. Because the democratic primary was still very contested in may in '08 probably a lot of independents voted on the democratic ballot. but now they might choose republican and go for Paul.

You waited till the night before to ask this?? Way to be on top of things, LOL. Yes, independent (non-affiliated voters) will be allowed to vote in the primary. You better get your ass and the asses of your friends to the polls today!

I think many of them will vote for Santorum (who is still on the ballot) in a fit of pique against Romney, too

Thanks! I know personally that 17 of my friends will be voting for Ron tomorrow, and possibly more depending on anyone I may have persuaded
OK good. There will be at least two votes for RP in Elkview.

EDIT: Done. Did some light campaigning at the local feed store in Charleston, pointed one guy here and to the official campaign site. All 19 RP delegates got our nod. It felt good.

Is there same day registration in any of the states?

Go round up college kids in Indiana especially (if it's an open primary). The Hoosiers, the Fighting Irish, the Boilermakers.

    NC for RP

I am an evangelical 100 percent pro life voter and am so happy to cast my vote today in NC for Dr. Paul!

If anyone is handing out items to voters this might switch some minds:

I hear most people vote from 3 to 7 so lets hope we at least win one of these if possible. It would be a sad day if Newt/Santorum do better than us in any of these 3.

Go West Virginia....I am picking your State to give Ron Paul the highest percentage of the vote today. Indiana will be second and North Carolina third in my prediction.

I am hoping all three States will give Ron at least 25% of the the vote!!!!

Let's Work Hard Today!!!! For Liberty!!!

I hope we can prove your prediction to be true!!

I'm getting a lot of good news "from the ground". Plus, it's a rainy day here, maybe that will keep the Romney voters home... . I mean, he's inevitable, right?!

    North Carolina checking in.

West Virginia checking in. First time I have ever voted, marked all 22 Paul delegates. From what I understand, voter turnout has been rather high today.

Uhhh, their point sounds quite a bit more valid than yours. And you've posted here over 2500 times. It's not like you just showed up yesterday, and now you are saying you don't even know if it is possible for you to vote for Paul. I'd slink away from the "$#@! you" position if I were you and perhaps accept some responsibility for yourself.
We have allies many of you are not aware of. Watch the tube. Show this to your 30 and under friends. Listen to it. Even if you don't like rap, it has 2.7 million views.

What does my post count have to do with anything? I had asked at the DMV whether or not I needed to switch parties to vote in the republican primary way back in August, and they said that they "didn't think so". All I was asking for was a confirmation, and I get crap thrown my way? It's no wonder people think Ron Paul people are rude.

I'm a Ron Paul person, and I'm not rude. I think everyone is just a bit edgy today. Go vote, and take a few people with you! Do it for RON!!!

It seems a lot of younger people are going out in NC to vote against some bill. Maybe with their help Paul can get at least 25%-35% of the vote.

Shane - If you want to get involved in your local GOP, you do have to be a registered Republican. We've taken over the state parties of several states (Iowa, Alaska, Nevada, etc.) so if you want to do it in West Virginia, I would encourage you to re-register as a Republican.

    Here's the voter registration form:

Depends on party affiliation. Dems vote on Dem ballot. Reps vote on Rep. ballot. Unaffiliates can choose one or the other.

No, it's a serious question. You have a 2000+ post count in RPF means you have been involved in this movement for a while now. Yet you didn't think it was important enough to find this information out, and if possible, even early vote and get it over with. Pathetic indeed. Yapping on the forums is not enough. You need to go out and vote too.

I don't think I was rude to you. I mentioned post count because you've spent a lot of time on the subject of Ron Paul / politics. I don't think anyone would have jumped on you had it been your first post or something. You have to understand that a lot of people in here not only know their own voting status, but are also out there spending a lot of time helping others (less into Paul or politics) with theirs. Maybe they were a little overboard on you, but I just didn't see the conversation going anywhere fruitful with your first response.
