Romney Nomination in doubt – Brokered Convention likely

Now if this doesn't make ya want to dance and donate........ I surely don't know what will!!

April 24, 2012. Des Moines. Two networks yesterday, CNBC and MSNBC, broadcast a little known fact – Ron Paul appears to be winning the Republican nomination for President. When the popular Texas Congressman repeatedly assured supporters that the race was about delegates, not beauty contests, he apparently knew what he was talking about. Now, after three more states locked in delegates to the GOP nominating convention – CO, MN and IA – indicators point to a brokered convention with a possible, even probable, Ron Paul victory.

A brokered convention would be outstanding, regardless of the outcome. And of course, I haven't given up all hope of a RP nomination, although it seems unlikely at this point. I'm not sure how they get to "probable", however. Romney still has far more delegates than anyone else, even if he doesn't have enough for a first ballot win.

The use of force to impose morality is itself immoral, and generosity with others' money is still theft.

If our society were a forum, congress would be the illiterate troll that somehow got a hold of the only ban hammer.

problem is Ron keep saying on television that it is unlikely that he would get the nomination... instead of focusing how he is the last real conservative and the only person to have a chance to stop romney and ask Santorum and Gingrich supporters to get behind him to at least force a brokered convention *run on sentence*.

Would be nice to have Ron win this one. It would be a great victory. It could be possible. Once the delegates are unbound. Plus there are still a lot of delegates that Ron could win coming up. What if Ron wins Texas and California's delegates that would be huge.

    This

He's TOO HONEST for his own good He needs to keep talking about him being the only fiscal conservative voice & that he CAN beat Obama because he consistently polls well against Obama due to his appeal across the political spectrum from Repubs to Indies to Dems!

That, I believe, is our basic function: to develop alternatives to existing policies, to keep them alive and available until the politically impossible becomes politically inevitable

Let's just stay focused, BROKERED CONVENTION. Say it with me now.

Stay focused and let's let the cards fall where they may. Who knows, we might get an ACE.

You know some of the Romney BOUND delegates could actually be Paul-supporters, who may abstain on the first ballot & make a brokered convention inevitable

This is exactly why every one of the Paul-supporters should become delegates, be it for Romney or anyone else, just become a delegate
