Attacking internal security competency on 9-11 is fair game. And this is sufficient to open the can of worms or the Pandora's Box. You just have to go with the Muslim hijacker scenario for starters at least.

I find him extremely compelling to listen to. I find his speaking ability several notches above most other politicians I hear speak. Interesting that we view this so differently. Would be interesting to see some kind of poll. Maybe let's run a thread poll on the subject.
Indeed, that is strange. I don't know, but I would guess that people generally find speakers with whom they agree to be better speakers than those with whom they disagree (e.g. Republicans thinking Obama is not charismatic, while Democrats thinking he is very charismatic). This doesn't really matter for the Senate, but charisma is what gets people going in terms of Presidents. Rand Paul can't just be the conservative, he's got to feel and sound like it.

We here in 2012 regardless of outcome have secured Rand 2016. Across many states after this cycle the GOP will have been taken over or at leas partially filled with Paul people. This is what the 2008 election hoped to accomplish for 2012 but didn't quiet get the results they got this time in 2012. But alas the Father will leave his Son with a path to the presidency to continue his legacy. The question is what will the US look like in 4 years -__-. Will we even be holding elections or will Emperor Obama have implemented martial law and "postponed" elections yet. If he feels threatened in November I can see a false flag martial law event since he is rather sure of his re-election. But if the guy who counted the votes was in spain and a good friend of mine and it was done all electronically I'd be pretty certain of my re-election too.

Have you seen Frank Lutz's focus groups with Rand? Off the chart positives.

I think some (particularly those not 'originally from' the GOP) severely underestimate how important having these state GOP organizations in our corner is. These have THE biggest call lists, THE biggest donor lists, and ultimately THE best organization. To have these folks in our corner gives us the best network in the entire state and will directly result in primary victories for Rand. Our folks in Iowa and NH have GOT to stay active through 2016 so we can have as huge an advantage in the first 2 states as possible.

I just am not seeing the "boring & monotonous" thing...

Agreed. The establishment will do whatever it takes to sink Rand. Unfortunately for them Rand is much more liked by the typical GOPer than his dad.

I know you guys don't care...but I'm not voting for Rand. I want someone equally or more libertarian than Ron...I'm not conceding any ground incrimentally toward neocon. His voting record shows several neoconish tendancies...no thanks, I'll pass big time. I mean sanctions on Iran (an act of war)...that one alone did it, let alone all the other bad votes or lack of fortitude to stop unanimous consent.

"You guys have been lying to your recruits for years. Rothbard advocates for minimal government..." - Travlyr

"As far as I'm concerned, and I think the rest of the movement, too, we are anarcho-capitalists. In other words, we believe that capitalism is the fullest expression of anarchism, and anarchism is the fullest expression of capitalism." - Rothbard
