This graph is done by the National Priorities Project. My first thought is if my income tax pays for medicare and Social security, then what does my medicare and SS tax pay for?

I call foul on this organization. Anyone else have any thoughts to prove me wrong or right?

I'm guessing it's a PROPORTIONAL distribution within all the government expenses so I don't know why it's "foul" or anything

You can do that with medicare or social security or whatever revenue-stream by taking all the US expenses & the % of each one in relation to total expenditure & do a proportional distribution on that

Let's say you & your wife both earn $25000, meaning your total income is $50000, let's say your total expenditure was $40000, out of which, $10000 was on housing $10000 on food, etc so you could say that 20% of your $25000 went to housing, 20% to food, etc; instead of saying 20% of your household-income ($50000) was spent on so & so; it's just a different perspective on things, that's all
There is enormous inertia — a tyranny of the status quo — in private and especially governmental arrangements. Only a crisis — actual or perceived — produces real change. When that crisis occurs, the actions that are taken depend on the ideas that are lying around. That, I believe, is our basic function: to develop alternatives to existing policies, to keep them alive and available until the politically impossible becomes politically inevitable

I thought the title of the graph is misleading. It specifically says where my Federal Income Taxes went, it does not say it includes my SS and medicare taxes as well.

Also, I'm for anyone's right to marry their sex but I'm not considering a wife myself

IRS taxation is a voluntary contract between consenting parties and cannot be compelled. Since we don't know this, they trick us into "consenting."
