Yahoo: The Race Is Effectively Over

Now that the race for the Republican nomination is effectively over, Mitt Romney's campaign is speaking publicly about who they might choose as his running mate. While the prediction markets we rely on for forecasting elections also take action on vice-presidential nominees, this is a different type of race, decided by a small council of insiders rather than an election or caucuses. The current frontrunner in the prediction market data is Marco Rubio, the first term senator from Florida.

I'd say the mainstream saying "It's over." is more helpful to us than not. Less people will show up to support a candidate who has already been coronated. People who support Ron Paul are aware of the delegate strategy, are much more likely to realize that the fat lady has not sung yet, and gives us a better opportunity, in my opinion, to take advantage of teh media's dishonesty for a change.

seems the media is doing its best to basically tell everyone to go home... race is over with barely half of delegates? lol
