Don't miss your convention!
My county convention is this Saturday, April 14. Some counties and SD conventions are on April 21. Some places are having precinct conventions in the morning followed by county/SD conventions in the afternoon.
I cannot emphasize enough that it is imperative that you attend these conventions. Get involved, help out with something, learn the people and the process. Be prepared! Yes, you can make a HUGE difference!
In order to get nominated to go to the state convention, most counties have a "temporary nominating committee" that hold interviews BEFORE the senate district/county convention. Go to your county's republican party website or call them and ask what the process is.

Doubtful. Our SD convention has been fairly diverse the past few years.
