"Rick's Army" webforum shut down

When one goes to

There is only a message "Thank you for all your hard work for Rick! The forum is now closed."

Uh, yeah. I was regular at Rick's Army. I just visited there about 10 minutes ago and got the message above. It was a complete shock--and almost like a slap in the face.

If they had said, "This forum will be closing in a month," I would have been fine with that. Or even, "This forum will be closing in a week." But pronto??? I mean, Huck's Army has been around for 4+ years since Huckabee dropped out, and Rick's Army can't even stay around for 4+ hours???

So how did I find this thread? Easy. I did a Google search on "Rick's Army closed" and voila!!!

If anyone from Rick's Army reads this, please know that I'll miss you guys and wish you all the best. Sorry that the folks in charge didn't give us all a chance to say a proper goodbye.

That was fast. Unexpected, too: to the extent that Santorum's followers had a consistent ideology, one would think that they would want to coordinate a strategy going forward.

Slamming the door shut on us was a bit rude. Probably not intentionally so, but rude nonetheless. BTW, a message on the Web site says:

"This website is not owned or operated by any candidate or political campaign."

So it wasn't an official site or anything.

Well, maybe I can find a good therapist now who can help me overcome the shock of being booted out of Rick's Army! LOL.
