Cali- 21 YES and 31 NO

That's really surprising. Of course I don't trust a single one of them.

It turned very poltical. Most all republicans voted for, democrats no. If a republican voted against they would be deemed a traitor

Thank you. That explains it. Cali reps are mostly democrats.

The Neocon in my district, Michael T. McCaul, voted aye. Not surprised.

Can we get an adress list of these folks, I think that would be most useful.

Notice with all of the "cyber security" policies and arguments with protecting the public, there is a provision in there that doesn't protect personal data, privacy and legally hacking individuals through deceptive legalities - So the question is, what are they protecting?

The government is protecting the 'Big Corporations' to do anything while giving them unlimited rights with impunity over the billions of people's collective individual rights and freedom - from infringing, recording, manipulating and stealing - or anything you do (activities and data) and hacking into your computers and phones while using the internet; worst of these are that they will give those to the governments, UN organizations and etc...

All Republicans in my state voted Yes and all the Democrats voted No, except one Democrat who didn't vote. That was surprising.

Also, I initially read the bill as "Cyborg Intelligence Sharing..." I'm hungry.
"That's one thing about freedom; you have to tolerate the nonsense too." - Ron Paul

A member of parliament in Canada ( vic toews) recently pushed for a cispa type bill ( I think it was bill c-30) and tried to sugar coat
it for the sake of child / kiddyporn ( which is a legit reason but the bill/law goes way further into stripping our internet privacy than
just protecting children. So some brilliant political insider published mr toews' personal life via twitter (he's going through a divorce) to push the point of Internet privacy. Maybe something to consider for these ass clowns that voted for cispa??
I love my country, but I fear my government

  16. #14
Wow, a lot of Californians voted against, both D and R.
"Foreign aid is taking money from the poor people of a rich country, and giving it to the rich people of a poor country." - Ron Paul
"Beware the Military-Industrial-Financial-Pharma-Corporate-Internet-Media-Government Complex." - B4L update of General Dwight D. Eisenhower
"Debt is the drug, Wall St. Banksters are the dealers, and politicians are the addicts." - B4L
"Totally free immigration? I've never taken that position. I believe in national sovereignty." - Ron Paul

My neocon embarrassment of a Congressman, Doug Lamborn (CO-5), voted for it.
...but when the trumpets blew again and the knights charged, the name they cried was "Stannis! Stannis! STANNIS!"

Funny thing about Oligarchs, they usually think themselves to be exempt from their own laws.

Why is it mostly republicans who are voting for increased regulations, and the democrats voting no? I thought republicans were suppose to support decreased regulations.

Republican and Democrat is a myth ... They work wonders with deception, and generate great divides via the Two Party labels.
Let them keep thinking Ron Paul supporters are just a little army. Every military strategy manual in the world has examples of the bad things that happen to arrogant commanders of massive armies that underestimate the enemy. They all lose. We will win because the human heart, despite its detractors, is meant for truth and freedom.

I do not like to be gloom and doom but I have come to the conclusion that our only hope to return our country around and restore freedom is for a collapse of the dollar. As long as the status quo is in power we do not stand a chance.

  24. #21
I have lost all hope for our country. This is the first time that I truly believe it too.

There is no way we get out of this mess before a collapse. And if the wrong people sieze power afterwards, we'll have a century+ of tyranny just due to the technology available.

Screw Ohio! Only democrats voted no on this thing.
"Power tends to confuse itself with virtue...conferring upon it a special responsibility for other nations—to make them richer and happier and wiser, to remake them, that is, in its own shining image. Power confuses itself with virtue and tends also to take itself for omnipotence. Once imbued with the idea of a mission, a great nation easily assumes that it has the means as well as the duty to do God's work." - William Fulbright

  26. #23
On a positive note, Mo Brooks voted no. He originally co-sponsored the bill (along with many others). Maybe they do listen.

Any others that went from co-sponsoring to voting no?

  27. #24
My congressman is a Democrat (George Miller) and he voted NO. That's one good thing he's done

They have HOUSES with Spouses & Children. Spouses go to pricey restaurants, spas and boutiques. Trophy Children attend schools, mainly private.

Imagine their surprise...IMAGINE THEIR FEAR...if Protesters start protesting in front of the Ivory Towers that service AND HIDE impervious Officials.

Do Officials proactively scare CITIZENS? They most certainly DO.

Are Citizens' families off the table? They most certainly are NOT.

Play hardball, or lose. Lose battles over particular bills, AND LOSE ELECTIONS.

Power=Money is not "niced" or "stealthed" outta being Bullies/$#@!s.

Unless it is on orderly passing of the baton, EMPHASIS ON ORDER, no one gives up Power without a fight. Why WOULD they, when THEY HAVE THE POWER TO PREVENT IT?

I agree. But when people see this crap from "republicans" they should vote them out. If they are not for reduced regulations, quit the sham and run as a democrat, or run as a communist.

  31. #27
My congressman is on that list. *sigh*

I should run for Congress when I'm 25, I'm so tired of this $#@!.
    "I guess...I don't know, whatever" - Ron Paul

Bastard congressman voted for it.Between that and him voting for the NDAA I am not voting for him this year.

  33. #29

  34. #30
