Santorum is considered to have his eye on another presidential run in 2016 and may not want to upset the party by staying in too long this time around and hindering Romney's ability to campaign against Obama.

But 2016 is a long way off and the presidential field could be packed with rising Republican stars like Florida Senator Marco Rubio, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and South Dakota Senator John Thune crowding out Santorum.

It makes it sound as though the party wants to hurry up and let Romney get his ass handed to him by Obama and then start fresh in '16. Can't wait to see the outcome of the state conventions coming up regarding delegate allocation. No one knows exactly how things will pan out at the national convention but we all need to become precinct delegates in our respective areas and purge the party establishment as we move forward.

Yes and it really is one of the easiest things to do. In most states, all you have to do is file ONE form and you become a precinct committeeman/delegate because most positions go uncontested.

That's partially why we got McCain and Romney shoved down our throats. Let's hope TPTB don't try to shove Santorum down our throats (gross, I know) if things don't go our way this time around.
