Thread: Corporatists bending people over...literally.

    Default Corporatists bending people over...literally.

Embarrassed to say that I just read about the experience of Kathryn Bolkovac for the first time after seeing the film The Whistleblower. I'd post a link, but I'm a new user, so Google it if you aren't familiar with what happened. Long story short: woman discovers that a PMC hired by the UN is helping operate a human trafficking racket in post-war Bosnia, cover-up ensues, everyone involved gets off scot-free, the end, not-so-happily-ever-after. Our tax dollars hard at work...SMH. Scary times we're living in. Tragic to think where this is taking our country.

Yeah, watched the movie the other day. Sad to think this is only one of the MANY things being perpetrated across the globe.

    Welcome aboard.

I'm quite aware of what it means. My error seems to have been in not spelling out precisely what "human trafficking" entails in most cases, including this one.
