If this is accurate claim, this is probably the sharpest criticism of Israel by a US public figure outside of perhaps Rev Wright's sermons that came out during Obama campaign. Israel has been a welfare state using US tax payers aid to oppress Pelestinians for decades and contributing to blowbacks like 9/11 but this is just way too blunt:

Democrat senatorial candidate Lee Whitnum called her Democrat primary opponent a "whore" during a debate last night. She also pushed for the US to prosecute Jewish Americans who go to Israel and join the army and kill. She believes prosecuting our own American citizens "would solve anti-American sentiment world-wide", because "they are the number one reason why people hate this country".

Had she used more reasonable language this would have been ignored. As it is the media will morph it into a "teachable moment" about the "dangers" of "anti-Semitic" "hate speech".
