This is getting to be ridiculous already. I've been on RPF 3.5 years and I've seen Alex Jones and various posters predict "Israel to attack Iran in two months" and "SHTF any day now" about 50 times in that 3.5 years. Every now and then I will post and tell them they are full of shit. And when I do invariably I will be mocked as "naive" or "having my head in the sand" or even better "an asset of the Mossad or CIA". And when the day passes they either claim something happened last minute or even better take credit for saving us all "because we publicized it it didn't happen".

When will people start calling them on their bullshit? This is your Y2K. Maybe there will be a war. Maybe there won't. But Alex Jones doesn't know shit about if or when it is going to happen. Alex Jones is a richer Harold Camping basically.

It should come as no surprise to any of us that we won't go to war with Iran until after the 2012 elections. There is no way that Obama would risk losing the general election against the Republican nominee... Especially if it's Paul.

Iran would crush Israel in a direct confrontation. If you don't think so, just look at a map. Iran has never been afraid of tiny Israel, and would actually welcome an excuse to crush it. It's Israel's ability to coax America or NATO into helping them that worries Iran.

The idea that Israel is worried about American casualties is a laughable attempt to yet again draw America into their aggression. If they don't get America's help, attacking Iran would spell the end of the political entity known as "Israel." Israel's strategists know this, and that's why an attack hasn't happened and is unlikely to happen during Obama's administration in which he has told them that he won't help them.

If Obama is re-elected, he's never going to bomb Iran. He doesn't like Israel and wishes he didn't have to bow down to their every whim because of AIPAC. If he does get re-elected and does nothing for Israel, I have a feeling that they will try to assassinate him.

I put chances of Israel attacking Iran at 0%.

I put chances of US starting a war with Iran at 0% also.
Whatever 1-5% chance there was of Israeli lobby activists in US pulling it off using plant Obama, Andrew Adler killed it.

You understand they've been propagandizing the public for an Iran war for years now, right? They're been playing the 'WMD' lies for over half a decade now. The problem is the public isn't buying it and is souring on the wars, and a lot of that is thanks to the great work of journalists like Alex Jones getting the word out about the wars being a scam.
