Hopefully I'll be back in New Hampshire by 2014!

One trusts this has to do with Ron's delegates, and that residual benefits are residual benefits. However, Rand does need a high profile. We certainly don't want any of the others whose names they are tossing around for 2016.
So true. Rubio? Ryan? Santorum or Bachmann or Pawlenty all over again? Its not going to be a cake walk for Rand whether its 2016 or 2020. Hopefully we can pray that 1) he is treated far better than his father, and 2) we still have something left to save

Is 2016 too late...what will the US look like at that point?

Rand will get much better treatment than Ron. He's a far better political chameleon - he's already as deep if not deeper than Rubio in DeMint's circle.

As for the 2016 field - it's liable to be a tough one. There are a lot of rising stars who will be ripe by 2016, including Rubio, Jindal, Haley, Daniels, and Ryan.

No. In 2004, Cuccinelli stated "homosexuality is wrong"[111] and during his 2009 campaign for attorney general opposed a nondiscrimination policy against gays and lesbians and stated about homosexual acts: "I happen to think that it represents (to put it politely; I need my thesaurus to be polite) behavior that is not healthy to an individual and in aggregate is not healthy to society."[112] More directly, Cuccinelli said that “homosexual acts are wrong” and that “in a natural law based country it’s appropriate to have policies that reflect that.”[18]

Collins has already been telling people off the internet that Rand is definitely going to run. He's just such a dick he won't tell us. Instead, he's going to strong us along because it makes him feel important or something.

    Huh? wut?

It doesn't doesn't take a political scientist or an insider to see from a mile away that if Ron doesn't win this year, the Republicans will probably lose, and Rand would be a great person to run in 2016. This was discussed on the Forums well over a year ago, in fact even in 2007/2008 there was talk on here of Rand running for President eventually so I am not sure where the surprise is coming from. It's always been blatantly obvious that is a possibility, and now Rand is making a trip to Iowa. I love how people here can't read between the lines.
