This post has given the Marcus Carey campaign an upset stomach. See here. He, or his son, is studying this forum (Hi guys) and trying to go full-liberal because grass root supporters are talking about helping someone they support (Massie).

My Tea Party group likes Massie and we are putting on a forum. We don't have any questions but we would like to have some good pro-Massie questions (whatever that means). OMG! Someone call the conservative police!!! REPORT THIS!!! OMG~! 9-1-1....

Hi Marcus! (or Marcus' son)

No hard feelings, but some of us think this Massie guy will go on to do great things. It seems like you are not quite ready for the rough and tumble of local politics yet. I mean, is it SO off-the-radar that liberty-minded folks would support Massie over you? Why do you think you have a lock on the Tea Party vote here? That's insane. You're trying to make an issue out of something that is really nothing. I like some of your positions and I like to read your blog from time to time. I have nothing against you.

I am a normal working guy and I have no affiliation with any person or party. It was an innocent post meant to drum up support for our candidate (the one you say has "fawning love" for Ron Paul).

My advice for you is to drop the whole manufactured outrage. If you keep making an issue out of an innocent post on a message board that very few people in Kentucky read, you might just incite the Ron Paul machine to start working against you...and as you're seeing across the country, the machine has teeth.


Grow up Marcus. There's no conspiracy against you. We just want the best candidate in Geoff's seat, and we are trying to get him in there. I am an insignificant person in local politics. I am not even a Republican (except to vote for Ron, Rand, and Massie).
