Thread: Who is the coordinator for my state?

Who is the coordinator for my state?

How is the Paul campaign represented in certain states? How do we find out?

I'm in NC and from what I gather the campaign has written off my state entirely. There is zero presence from the Paul campaign here despite the fact that our district caucuses are taking place for the next month or so and each district will award 3 national delegates.

So who at the campaign do I get in touch with? The campaign web site doesn't give any indication of who might be in charge of NC (or any state for that matter).. and this site shows no information for NC.

I have submitted the delegate form and have gotten no response.

I doubt that they have anyone in NC...you are probably on your own. Hopefully someone here can help you

On the front page, each state has a thread, check around in yours for the delegate contact info:

Or, ask this Facebook group - http://www.facebook.com/search/resul...77004991710798

I have been asking around. Nobody knows. I keep hearing that "you're on your own, this is a grassroots effort" ... pbbb.. who in grassroots can give me a list of ALL of the donors (including those who just gave $20) in my state? Who in grassroots knows which registered Republicans in my precinct vote in the primaries? Who in grassroots has a list of everyone who has "volunteered" to the Paul campaign? And if we are going to spread thousands of yard signs around the state like the Romney and Santorum campaigns will do in the next few weeks, we each have to buy some individually and pay shipping to get them here? Santorum "supporters" will just go to the local GOP meeting and pick them up for free.

even Gary Johnson understands that it's important for people to have a local contact person for the campaign.

Here in NC the Paul campaign has a couple of weeks to organize. If they could get someone like BJ Lawson to be their state coordinator, send out e-mails to every donor in NC with his contact info, get a conference call going for leaders from every district, get a bunch of yard signs and bumper stickers here, then Paul supporters would be far better equipped going into their district conventions where we'll select over 30 delegates. As it is we're totally disorganized and will be lucky to pick up a handful of those delegates. Our primary is May 8th and the clock is ticking. If the Paul campaign expects the grassroots to win this one for them then they'll get another single digit result.

Don't let others get you down. Not naysayers, not pretenders, not appeasers, not opportunists; none of em.

Slacker.......you have a new state coordinator. This was just posted in another thread.

    http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthr...campaign-in-NC!!

We now have a STATE COORDINATOR for the Paul campaign in NC!! Guys, we have a state coordinator for the Paul campaign in NC. Her name is Sharon Ward and I spoke to her on the phone a few days ago. She told me that the Paul campaign had contacted her to become the State Coordinator for the campaign. She is already the Wake County coordinator for Campaign for Liberty. I wanted Sharon herself to make a post here to introduce herself to those who don't know her, but looks like she is having some trouble with the registration process and so I decided to post on her behalf.

We are kicking off the delegate process with the Raleigh Rally for Ron Paul & Freedom Fest this Saturday, Mar 24th, at the Hampton Inns & Suites, 8021 Arco Corporate Drive, Raleigh, NC 27617. The idea is to get together all supporters and those who have signed up as delegates to discuss further steps. This will also be a good time for the delegates to meet each other, so they know whom to vote for, in the conventions ahead. I have also suggested to Sharon that we conduct a coaching class for Robert's Rules of Order. If you are a Paul supporter, PLEASE be there at the Raleigh Rally. This is our Facebook page for the event: https://www.facebook.com/events/3157...9804834740464/

Sharon is also collecting names, numbers and email IDs of delegates to be passed onto the campaign. I have volunteered to collect this info from the RPFers, so if you trust me enough, please PM this to me. I need full name, phone number, email ID, the house district and congressional district for which you are a delegate. If you are coming for the rally, you can give this information to Sharon herself (or whoever else will be collecting the info there).

First off, who will be coming to the rally? Tickets are available here.
