The Draft should be unconstitutional

I think that the Draft should be considered unconstitutional. You are forcing people to fight a war that they don't want to. It is slavery. Too bad the Supreme Court did not care back in 1968 when they ruled that the Draft was ok. Now if we are forced into another World War by politicians we may have a draft again. I believe if the War is just then people will want to fight. I think we should decide if the war is worth fighting and risking our lives not the government.

Funny enough, when the SC ruled it "constitutional" they didn't use the constitution as the basis for the decision but rather that it was common practice in a number of other empires.

Meh, they can lead the masses into believing a war is just... quite as easy as they might conscript them. Also, if recruitment is down they can always crash the economy to generate recruits.
