I don't think the current Syrian dictator is a good guy so I wouldn't advocate sending US taxpayer dollars despite your belief that he is pro-Christian. I also doubt your claims that Israel is funding the people fighting him. It's a civil war and I doubt most of the people on either side of this conflict are buddies with Israel.

I just hope that the new Egyptian government doesn't stab Palestinians in the back like Mubarak and Sadat did. Hopefully they support Hamas.
