What are we doing with Ron's old district? (TX-14)

I see almost no discussion about TX-14. There's 10 candidates running and I don't know much about any of the them except that George Harper is a forum member. Is he running a serious campaign? Are there any other liberty candidates running in it too?

There's no way he would just give up that seat to some establishment hack. He should meet them and endorse someone.

Hello, I just found this forum and hope that I can share with you the message of Robert Gonzalez who is, imho, the only real libertarian on the ballot for CD 14.

Robert is the co-founder of Clear Lake Tea Party and in fact, invited Dr. Paul to the very first Tea party rally and has since then, actively worked for legislative changes to restore our Constitution.

Robert is running a real grassroots campaign and we've been working day and night to get his message out.

Unlike most of the slates of candidates, Robert is the only one that I know of that actually works a full time job and campaigns when he is off work. I have information on all the candidates that we need to actively shut down. Why? because they are establishment political class who have no idea what the 17th Amendment is. (I actually have a forum video where the question was asked and Robert was the only one who knew it).

Honestly, guys, I need help. The guy with the most money in this race is a democrat who has flipped to the R ticket and voted for either Hillary or Obama in the Dem primary.

We are a small campaign as everyone is focused on the Presidential or the Senate races. We are (according to Gallup) not out of danger of this district flipping to blue and going socialized. Agenda 21 is being embraced by local officials and Robert and I have been trying to educate only to have them look at us like we're crazy.

Your writeup was unimpressive. In fact,it made me want to go donate to one of his RP-supporting opponents. It doesn't sound like Mr. Gonzales ever supported Dr. Paul either. Did he ever donate or volunteer for any of Dr. Paul's campaigns?

I have to agree. Seems most people I have seen that are "Tea Party" are not the Tea Party we created. Rather mostly are Tea-o-cons

It was written for glenn beck audience, not an RP supporter audience. The author claims that her candidate is the "only libertarian" yet, no mention of his position on the myriad of libertarian-unique positions. No mention of wars, no mentions of civil rights, no mention of the patriot act, no mention of the draft. This gives me the impression he is just a teo-con.

No mention of the candidate's support for Ron Paul.

Oh noes, "Agenda 21", something ron Paul people have been against before Glenn Beck made it the new cool thing for tea party people. AND it is a distraction. Agenda 21 is just a name for the erosion of property rights and national sovereighty. If you respect private property rights, then you don't have to worry about Agenda 21. Why no mention of the candidates position on US membership in the UN? If you are seriously against "agenda 21", why no calls for the US to get out of the UN? What about LOST? Let's hear how firm the candidates is on protection of private property, that would impress me more than throwing out the Agenda 21 boogeyman.

Well we already know he's not the only libertarian, because like I mentioned in the OP, George Harper has been a member of this forum for 4 years. In other words, George most likely supports liberty. But there's isn't exactly anything wrong with creating a tea party, guys....
